Treylon Burks caught 3-of-3 targets for 58 yards in the Commanders’ Week 10 loss to the Lions.

Burks astonishingly led the Commanders in receiving yards this week. His performance was highlighted by hauling in a deep, contested catch along the left sideline for 38 yards. Across two 2025 appearances, he has now caught 4-of-4 targets for 75 yards. Boasting tight end-esque size and athleticism, Burks is sauntering toward waiver wire consideration. Burks notably out-snapped Commanders rookie WR Jaylin Lane 21-15. Lane caught 1-of-1 targets for 41 yards. The Commanders face the Dolphins in Week 11.

Packers declared WR Jayden Reed, RT Zach Bako-Bewele, LG Aaron Banks, DT Warren Brinson and DT Anthony Campbell inactive for Week 3 against the Falcons.

Reed may not return in 2026, and Bako-Bewele suffered a season-ending knee injury. The Packers will also be without Banks, their starting left guard, though the Falcons are without both starting edge rushers right now due to suspension and injury. Packers DT Javon Hargrave (knee/concussion) is active.
Broncos' backfield a 'situation to avoid' vs. Rams
The injury bug continues to strike the Denver Broncos' backfield, and ahead of a date with the Rams on Sunday Night Football, it creates a murky situation for fantasy managers.

Eagles RB Will Shipley (foot) did not practice on Thursday.

Shipley totaled nine touches last week, with RB Saquon Barkley dealing with a stinger. Apparently, he picked up a foot injury along the way. Shipley does not need to be rostered in 12-team leagues.

Eagles RB Tank Bigsby (abdomen) did not practice on Thursday.

Earlier this week, Bigsby was a candidate to start in Week 3 against the Bears, with RB Saquon Barkley (stinger) set for an MRI. Barkley’s imaging went well, and he was back at practice in a limited capacity today. Bigsby remains a worthwhile bench stash, but he should no longer be viewed as a Week 3 contributor in fantasy lineups.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday.

This is unfortunate. Smith dealt with a hamstring injury back in August, but rehabbed it successfully before the season began. The Eagles have an extra day to rest, with their Week 3 game against the Bears airing as this week’s Monday Night Football game, but he must be treated as questionable to play at this time. Eagles WR Dontayvion Wicks would handle No. 1 wide receiver duties if Smith cannot play.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Steelers QB Mason Rudolph and Chiefs QB Justin Fields are potential trade targets for the Giants.

Rudolph has been discussed as a potential trade target in past seasons, and the Steelers notably kept four quarterbacks on the roster after cut-down day. Fields, we suppose, could be expendable if the Chiefs really like rookie QB Garrett Nussmeier.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Bears QB Caleb Williams (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 3 against the Eagles.

This isn’t much of an update, but it bears noting. Williams is considered week-to-week at this point. He is not practicing, nor is QB2 Tyson Bagent (concussion). Bagent might have a better chance to play than Williams does, but neither player is on the right side of questionable. Bears QB3 Case Keenum will “likely” start on Monday Night Football against the Eagles in Week 3.

Chargers WR Ladd McConkey (ribs) practiced in full on Thursday.

That makes two full practices for the Chargers’ star wide receiver. Unless he suffers a setback, McConkey will suit up on Sunday to take on the Bills. He was on the field for 24-of-34 passing plays last week, and logged just six snaps outside of that. Hopefully, he can stay on the field for almost all of QB Justin Herbert’s dropbacks this week. McConkey should be in fantasy lineups.

Chargers WR Brenen Thompson (quad) did not practice on Thursday.

The Chargers’ rookie speedster is on the wrong side of questionable. Thompson is not fantasy-relevant on his own, but having him available is a plus for the offense overall. He will likely miss the Chargers’ Week 3 game against the Bills, though.

Chargers LT Rashawn Slater (groin) practiced in full on Thursday.

Chargers RG Cole Strange (pec) also upgraded to full participation today. Chargers G/T Trey Pipkins (knee) and LG Kayode Awosika (fibula) remained sidelined. Slate and Strange’s improvements are encouraging, but this unit is still in rough shape. Hopefully, everyone can remain setback-free.

Chiefs DT Chris Jones (calf) was limited on Thursday.

Jones should be good to go for Week 3 against the Dolphins, but the calf injury is certainly limiting him. The Chiefs’ D/ST should have a good game, given the Dolphins’ offensive struggles.
