Lions agreed to terms with QB Teddy Bridgewater, formerly of the Buccaneers.

Bridgewater completed 8-of-15 passes for 62 yards with the Buccaneers last season as Baker Mayfield’s backup. The 33-year-old previously spent the 2023-2024 seasons with the Lions, not attempting a pass in one regular season appearance. The Lions bring back Bridgewater as a candidate for backup quarterback in 2026.

Dylan Sampson (knee) was limited on Wednesday.

Browns coach Todd Monken indicated earlier today that Sampson has a chance to return from injured reserve in time to face the Titans on Sunday. The Browns’ skill position corps is banged up and could use an explosive player. Sampson might end up warranting FLEX treatment right off the bat, if he is active this week.
McCarthy offers Giants offense a 'high ceiling'
Kyle Dvorchak discusses the New York Giants' reported move to start J.J. McCarthy at quarterback this Sunday against the Houston Texans.

Quinshon Judkins (ankle) was limited on Wednesday.

Earlier today, Browns coach Todd Monken said he was “optimistic” about Judkins’ availability for Week 7 against the Titans. Today’s limited session puts him on track to play, though it would be nice to see him practice in full. If active, he would be a FLEX starter.

Nick Bosa (calf) did not practice Wednesday.

Kyle Shanahan told reporters he’s hopeful Bosa returns to practice tomorrow. The oft-injured pass-rusher hasn’t played since Week 2. Even if he does practice on Thursday, there’s no guarantee that will get him back on the field for Sunday’s game against the Falcons.

KC Concepcion (calf/quad) was limited on Wednesday.

The rookie wide receiver has been awfully banged up over the past two weeks. He suffered a concussion in Week 5, yet managed to play in Week 6. Unfortunately, he did not leave the contest unscathed, picking up two lower-body injuries. Hopefully, he resumes practicing fully tomorrow.

Denzel Boston (foot) was limited on Wednesday.

Boston played through the injury last week, catching just 1-of-5 targets for 15 yards. The foot injury could be bugging him. Fortunately, he did not appear to suffer any setbacks. Boston is a WR3/FLEX against the Titans in Week 7.

Deebo Samuel (calf) did not practice Wednesday.

Neither did Mike Evans, who is dealing with Achilles tendinitis. These absences shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Evans is expected to miss Week 8 after aggravating his Achilles issue on Monday. Samuel is expected to miss “at least a couple of weeks” and has been sidelined for just one game so far. Jordan Watkins and Brandin Cooks are in line to start for the 49ers this week. What a time to be alive.

Calvin Ridley (hip) was limited on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old player has a hip injury. Ridley mostly runs cardio and game day and is not fantasy-relevant at this time. Were he to sit, Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike could get more playing time — which would be a positive outcome for the offense as a whole.

Luke Goedeke (calf) did not practice Wednesday.

The Bucs’ right tackle has not missed a snap this year. If he were to miss Week 7, Justin Skule would likely be the next man up. Goedeke has been an impressive pass protector this year, allowing seven pressures and zero sacks on 259 pass-pro reps. Losing him would be a notable blow to the team’s line.

A.J. Brown (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 7 against the Bears.

Brown practiced in full on Friday. It is his first time doing so since returning from injured reserve last week. This is great news for his Week 7 outlook. The Bears field a beatable pass defense, setting up Brown for a bounce-back performance after last week’s disappointing showing.

Sean Tucker (quad) is practicing in full for Week 7 against the Panthers.

Tucker should be back after missing Week 6’s loss to the Steelers. He doesn’t offer much fantasy value of his own, but he does occasionally plunder goal-line work from Bucky Irving. Expect him to be a thorn in Irving’s side again this week.
