Iffe Lundberg plans to play for the Suns in next month’s Vegas Summer League, according to Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic.
Lundberg, who signed with the Suns in late March, appeared in just four games this season. But he did make history, becoming the first native of Denmark to appear in an official NBA game. While Lundberg will be a restricted free agent this summer, he still plans to play for the Suns’ Summer League outfit next month. And with Phoenix not having a pick in this year’s NBA Draft, the door could be open for Lundberg to (at the very least) earn a look in training camp. This won’t have much of an impact as far as fantasy is concerned, even with backup point guards Elfrid Payton (unrestricted) and Aaron Holiday (restricted) set to hit free agency.
