LSU DT Glen Logan reportedly met with the Indianapolis Colts via Zoom.
It’s been a busy past few weeks for several prospects ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft, and Logan (6'4/297) is among the players who have been meeting with teams. According to a report from Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Logan met with the Indianapolis Colts via Zoom and was also invited to local day earlier in the month by the New Orleans Saints.

  • LSU senior DT Glen Logan announced on Monday that he will return to school for the 2021 season.
Logan (6'3/339) returning to school certainly qualifies as good news for LSU, as the Tigers will be playing for a new defensive coordinator following Bo Pelini’s disastrous one-year run in Baton Rouge. The senior defensive tackle appeared in eight games this season, accounting for 17 total tackles (five solo, 0.5 for loss). HC Ed Orgeron has yet to hire a new defensive coordinator, but given the roster makeup and the team’s prior success it would not be a surprise if the next DC prefers using a 3-man front.

  • LSU senior DT Glen Logan (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. Vanderbilt.
Logan (6'4/297) did not play in Saturday’s home loss to Mississippi State, so this weekend’s matchup with the Commodores will be his second straight on the sidelines. The hope is that the senior defensive tackle, who considered entering the 2020 NFL Draft before deciding to return for his senior, will be available when LSU hosts Missouri October 10.

  • LSU senior DT Greg Logan announced that he’s returning to campus in 2020.
This is the right decision. Logan (6'4/297) is a useable piece, but his value is suppressed as a 3-4 DE/4-3 DT tweener who hasn’t been a difference-maker in college. Last year, his snaps fell off by 201 from the year before. His conventional stats, per-snap stats, and PFF grades all took big hits. He’s got one more year to boost that stock and lock in a Day 3 slot.
  • LSU junior DT Greg Logan has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. Utah State due to a foot/leg injury.
Logan (6'4/309) will miss his third consecutive game as a result of the injury, which he suffered during LSU’s Sept. 7 win at Texas. The junior defensive tackle has six total tackles (three solo) and one sack this season. With Logan ruled out LSU is hopeful that Rashard Lawrence, who has also been banged up of late, will be healthy enough to play in Saturday’s game vs. Utah State.
  • LSU junior DT Glen Logan (foot/leg) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.
Logan (6'4/309) was injured against Texas in Week 2 and did not play against Northwestern State last weekend. Tigers HC Ed Orgeron has not laid out a specific timetable for his return to action. With Rashard Lawrence also ruled out for the contest against Vanderbilt, LSU will be dealing with a thinner-than-normal defensive line.
  • LSU junior DT Glen Logan will not play in Saturday’s game vs. Northwestern State due to an undisclosed injury, according to HC Ed Orgeron.
Logan (6'4/309) is one of two defensive tackles who will be held out of the game, with Rashard Lawrence being the other. No word on the severity of the injuries that the two are dealing with, but on the heels of the tough game at Texas it makes some sense to give any banged-up players some time off with Northwestern State being this week’s opposition.
  • LSU sophomore DT Glen Logan (ankle) was not at the media-open portion of practice on Monday.
Logan (6'4/297) left Saturday’s game against Auburn in the fourth after suffering an ankle injury. He was playing well prior to the injury with four tackles, and his 10 total stops are fourth-most on LSU. For now, he should be considered questionable for Saturday’s game against Louisiana Tech.
  • LSU sophomore DT Glen Logan left Saturday’s game at Auburn in the fourth quarter with an apparent ankle injury.
Logan remained down on the field before walking off under his own power, with a team trainer re-taping his ankle shortly thereafter. That likely bodes well for Logan with regards to being able to return to the pivotal SEC West showdown.
  • LSU signed four-star DT Glen Logan.
Logan ranks as the second-to-last ESPN 300 name among this newest crew of LSU recruits. They finished with 19 of ‘em. For his part, the 6-foot-4, 285-pounder checks in at No. 292. Per ESPN’s breakdown, he’s "[n]ot quite a dynamic force in the trenches, but can be a good football player, especially against the run.” They’d like to see him improve his pad level, as he “can get tall at times and give ground.” LSU has a ton of defensive talent on-board already and a redshirt’s certainly in play if Logan’s a bit slow in his transition to being ready for the big boy lines of the SEC.
