Milwaukee Gets Title Sponsor

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Greater Milwaukee Open agreed to a three-year deal Wednesday with U.S. Bank, ending a 36-year run on the PGA Tour without title sponsorship.

The tournament will be played July 22-25, one week after the British Open, and will be called the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee.

Kenny Perry is the defending champion. The tournament, which began in 1968, has been played the last 10 years at Brown Deer Park Golf Club, a public course in Milwaukee.

The deal leaves only six regular PGA Tour events, not including The Players Championship and Tour Championship, without title sponsors.
