Love them or hate them, you can’t say the golf gods don’t have a sense of humor.
The latest example comes to us from the Web.com Tour’s News Sentinel Open, where we saw a threesome of Jhared Hack, Adam Schenk and Ryan Yip in the final round.
You read that right. Three terms that haunt every golfer’s worst nightmares - hack, shank and yip - were grouped together in a professional golf tournament, and considering they all entered Sunday in the top 10, the irony is off the charts.
Rich Pierson, a Web.com tournament official, posted evidence of the grouping on Twitter so you know it’s real, and it’s spectacular:
