Being a great wedge and short-iron player is one of the keys to shooting good scores on the golf course.

And when it comes to that aspect of the game, being able to control spin, ball flight and distance is far more important than being able to create swing speed.

In this video segment, SwingFix instructor Justin Bruton will show you how to take the speed out of your golf swing in order to be more effective from 125 yards and in.

If you work on this approach when you practice and put this shot into play on the course, you’ll take better advantage of your scoring opportunities.
