Suzy Whaley and Kristen White have accepted sponsor invitations to the Wachovia LPGA Classic hosted by Betsy King.
Whaley, who recently was the first woman to qualify and play in a PGA Tour event (Greater Hartford Open) since 1945, is playing her fourth LPGA tournament as a sponsor exemption this year. White, an amateur like Whaley, is currently attending Ohio State University and was the winner of two tournaments during the 2002-03 school year.
