Mickelson to Play at Exelon Tourney

TRENTON, N.J. -- Phil Mickelson will participate in the 2004 Exelon Invitational. The event will be played June 7 at Hartefeld National Golf Club in Avondale, Pa., for the second consecutive year.

Jim Furyk, who is the tournament host, will make his sixth appearance at the Exelon Invitational, an event that features some of the top players in professional golf.

Mickelson, fresh off his win last week at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, is making his first appearance at this event which features a skins game with a total purse of $300,000. Among those who have competed in the past are Sergio Garcia, David Toms, David Duval, John Daly, Davis Love III, Nick Price, Justin Leonard and Vijay Singh.

Chris DiMarco captured the event last year with six skins, defeating Furyk, Singh and Garcia.
