Most golfers equate the term “slice” to their full shots, especially off the tee, but equally problematic can be slicing your putts.
If you’ve developed a cut stroke with the putter, you’re most likely going to have major speed issues, with leaving putts short being the most common problem.
In this video segment, Michael Breed, host of The Golf Fix, has a great drill to help you stop slicing your putts.
Work on this drill the next time you’re on the putting green. You’ll start releasing the toe of the putter and improve your speed, which will mean more makes and fewer 3-putts.
