Marlins sent OF Isaac Galloway outright to Triple-A New Orleans.

Marlins optioned OF Isaac Galloway to Triple-A New Orleans.
The 29-year-old was dreadful at the plate in his limited action with the Marlins, hitting just .167/.167/.185 with a 17/0 K/BB ratio in 54 plate appearances. He should get another chance with the big league club later in the season, but it’s clear that he’s not ready to handle major league pitching just yet.

Marlins recalled OF Isaac Galloway from Triple-A New Orleans.
Galloway is actually in the starting lineup on Tuesday. He should help the Marlins’ defense, but fantasy owners should expect much help offensively based on what he showed during his first taste in the majors last year.

Craig Mish of Sirius XM reports that the Marlins are calling up outfielder Isaac Galloway.
It appears that there could be multiple moves on the way for the Marlins, though nothing is official just yet. Galloway made his major league debut last year after more than 10 years in the minors, batting .203/.301/.391 over 74 plate appearances. The 29-year-old has some speed, but he’s likely to be a bench player and can be avoided in most fantasy legues.

Isaac Galloway came through with a run-scoring double in the 10th inning on Friday, propelling the Marlins to a 1-0 victory over the Reds.
It took until the top half of the 10th inning for either team to scratch out a run in this one, with Galloway delivering the go-ahead RBI double to plate Brian Anderson who had doubled before him. That was Galloway’s lone at-bat in the contest, as he entered as a pinch-runner earlier in the contest. The 28-year-old is hitting .218/.317/.436 with three homers and seven RBI in his first 63 plate appearances with the big league club.

Marlins optioned OF Isaac Galloway to Triple-A New Orleans.
    Galloway went 6-for-27 with a homer this spring. He’s a non-prospect.

Isaac Galloway tripled, doubled and knocked in two runs to propel the Marlins past the Astros 7-6 on Wednesday.
Galloway’s bat has held him back throughout his minor league career, but he did hit .327/.397/.553 in 49 games while healthy last year. He probably wouldn’t be a threat to make any other team in the majors, but since he’s a Marlin, there’s a chance he could win a spot as a reserve.
