    Eagles signed OL Jaeden Roberts.
Roberts (6’5/333) is a hulking, power-based interior presence with a 7.83 RAS and a massive 333-pound frame. Roberts’ 2025 campaign featured a strong 87.5 pass block grade with just two total pressures allowed across 201 pass-blocking snaps, showcasing his ability to anchor and absorb power when his technique is dialed in. His game is built on size, grip strength, and the ability to wall off defenders at the point of attack, flashing shock in his hands and the raw power to displace when he wins early in reps. However, Roberts’ processing speed and average athletic profile (5.26 forty, limited testing explosiveness/agility) shows up when asked to handle quick interior movement or late-developing pressure looks. He can struggle to react to stunts and blitzes, with his pad level rising and base narrowing, leading to balance issues and late losses against quicker defenders. Despite those concerns, Roberts’ durability, SEC pedigree, and physical tools give him a developmental pathway as a depth interior lineman. Given the interest in him around the league, Roberts likely has a pretty solid chance to compete for a roster spot with the Eagles.
  • Alabama received a verbal commitment from four-star 2021 OL Jaeden Roberts.
Another Christmas commitment in the books. Roberts had committed to Auburn in May, but backed off that pledge, and instead will be headed to a hated rival. Alabama continue their run on 2021 recruits, bringing in Roberts as a hefty 6-foot-5, 340-pound guard. Roberts is a perfect fit for their mean downhill run game, which pairs nicely with their play-action attack. The Crimson Tide now have over 25 recruits in their 2021 recruiting class.

  • Auburn received a verbal commitment from four-star 2021 OL Jaeden Roberts.
Absolutely stellar work by HC Gus Malzahn and staff, here, as Auburn had to come from behind to gain Roberts’ pledge. Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma State were in strong position for the 6-foot-4, 338-pounder for most of the winter -- all hosted him on visits -- but the sands began to shift after Auburn offered to the Houston native in February. Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman writes that Roberts is a “dominant interior blocker [who] can overwhelm in power with deceptive athleticism for his size,” one who comes with a college-ready body. Spiegelman would like to see the big man continue to hone his technical bonafides in terms of footwork and hand placement before concluding his scouting breakdown with the positive note that “very few defenders are going to match Roberts’ strength.” Rivals ranks Roberts as the No. 117 overall prospect in the 2021 class.

  • Uncommitted 2021 OL Jaeden Roberts picked up a scholarship offer from LSU.
Roberts (6'4/338) has now been offered by two SEC programs in the last week, with Florida doing so on June 1. The St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) rising senior also holds offers from programs such as BYU, Florida State, Georgia, Iowa and USC, and his list of offers should continue to grow throughout the summer. At the time of his Florida offer, Roberts said that he anticipates getting up to Gainesville for Friday Night Lights camp in July.
