Eagles signed WR Jamel Hamler, TE Brett Brackett, OL Zane Taylor, FB Stanley Havili, CB Domonique Johnson, and DE Maurice Fountain to reserve/future contracts.
This was the Eagles’ practice squad for the majority of 2011 outside of C Dallas Reynolds, who is out of “reserve future” options. Hamler went undrafted out of Fresno State last April. He managed one catch for six yards in two preseason games and figures to be a practice body if he makes it to 2012 camp.

Broncos released WR Jamel Hamler with an injury settlement.
The move makes Hamler a free agent. An undrafted rookie out of Fresno State, Hamler will be a candidate for the practice squad once he gets healthy.

Broncos placed WR Jamel Hamler on injured reserve, ending his season.
An undrafted rookie, Hamler received a solid $10,000 signing bonus in late July but missed most of camp and the preseason with an undisclosed injury. The Broncos could stash Hamler on I.R. and see what he can offer in 2012.
