An undrafted free agent out of Marshall, the injury is a devastating hit for Rouse’s career prospects. Achilles’ tears are notorious explosion-sapping injuries, and Rouse’s calling card was his quickness off the line as an interior penetrator. Rouse will likely be released with an injury settlement.
