The Packers needed to only see 10 snaps from Davis in their preseason opener to throw in the towel on him. He’ll land elsewhere in a hurry given his abilities to play both in the slot and on special teams.

Davis most recently played in the slot for the Giants once Cody Latimer missed a portion of the season. He joins rookie tryout-invite Darrius Shepherd as the second wideout to put pen to paper with the Pack in the last 48 hours. Green Bay is currently set to take 13 receivers into OTAs next week.

Short Odell Beckham (quad) and Davis in their regular season finale, the Giants will look to Sterling Shepard, Bennie Fowler, Cody Latimer, and Corey Coleman to finish the year at wideout. WR Alonzo Russell will take Davis’ spot on special teams.
