The Cincinnati Enquirer considers undrafted rookie LB Jayson DiManche the most likely UDFA to crack the Bengals’ 53-man roster.
DiManche’s $15,000 signing bonus was tied for the second highest amongst all undrafted free agents, while the Bengals have a history of rostering UDFA linebackers. A quick-twitch pass-rusher for small-school Southern Illinois, DiManche racked up 38 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks in three college seasons. “He’s such a good athlete,” coach Marvin Lewis said. “He’s got the long legs, long arms. But he’s so underdeveloped physically. That’s what you’re looking for: A guy with the physical upside.”

    49ers signed LB Jayson DiManche.
DiManche went to training camp with the Bengals last summer but didn’t make the team. The Lions claimed him off waivers shortly after, but he never saw the field for Detroit. DiManche is just a camp body.

    49ers signed LB Jayson DiManche.
DiManche spent part of the offseason in San Francisco, but didn’t make it to training camp. He’ll give the 49ers a camp body with WLB Malcolm Smith (chest) sidelined.

Browns signed LB Jayson DiManche off the Chiefs’ practice squad.
A former “name” undrafted free agent, DiManche made 28 appearances between 2013-14, and has experience on defense. He’ll be a special teamer for the Browns.

Bengals placed LB Jayson DiManche (broken forearm) on injured reserve, ending his season.
DiManche hasn’t played a defensive snap since Week 7, but is a core and strong special teamer. The 2013 UDFA out of Southern Illinois will be in a fight for a roster spot in 2015.

Bengals SLB Emmanuel Lamur (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday’s Week 7 game at Indy.
Lamur was never closet to playing in this one as he was listed “doubtful.” Jayson DiManche starts in his place. A.J. Green (toe) is also out and remains week to week, as previously reported. The rest of the Bengals inactives: Chris Lewis-Harris, Rey Maualuga, Tanner Hawkinson, Will Clarke and Brandon Thompson.
