    Chiefs waived QB Shane Buechele.
Buechele was signed off the Bills practice squad ahead of Week 18 and completed 7-of-14 passes for 88 yards against the Raiders in a game that neither team seemed to want to win. His reward was being waived. The Chiefs also signed LB Kam Arnold, DT Marcus Harris, WR Jimmy Holiday and T Matt Waletzko to reserve/future deals.

TCU received a verbal commitment from three-star 2020 ATH Jimmy Holiday.
Holiday (6'1/180) announced his decision on Saturday, picking the Horned Frogs over offers from programs such as Kansas, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Tennessee. TCU made a very good impression on the three-star athlete during his official visit in June, and ultimately Gary Patterson’s program came out on top in this recruitment. The question now is what position Holiday will play at the college level, and he told Rivals recruiting analyst Chad Simmons that TCU plans to give him a shot at quarterback. Holiday’s a very fast player who was clocked at 4.38 seconds in the 40 at a regional camp for The Opening in March.

Uncommitted three-star 2020 ATH Jimmy Holiday is taking an official visit to TCU this weekend.
Holiday (6'1/180) looks to be winnowing his field, as he took an earlier official to Kansas and has two unofficial visits set for next weekend with Ole Miss and Tennessee before the start of the summer dead period. A likely dual-threat quarterback for the collegiate ranks, Holiday was timed at 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash at a regional for The Opening back in March. Rivals ranks the Flora, Mississippi, native as the No. 13 prospect in the state for the 2020 cycle.

TCU three-star 2020 verbal ATH commit Jimmy Holiday ticked off Tennessee, Southern Miss, Duke and Ole Miss as four programs which he is considering for official visits.
Holiday (6'1/180) committed to TCU at the beginning of August. Given that he has already taken two official visits -- to Kansas and TCU over the offseason -- he has just three remaining slots to play around with in this game of visitation musical chairs. One of the above programs (assuming nobody else enters the conversation) will be out an OV chair when all is said and done. While the Flora, Mississippi, native is going through his due diligence with other programs, he remains locked in with TCU at this juncture. The Horned Frogs are looking to utilize Holiday as a quarterback at the collegiate level. Rivals ranks Holiday as the No. 12 prospect in the state of Mississippi for the 2020 cycle.

Tennessee signed three-star 2020 ATH Jimmy Holiday, flipping him from TCU.
Holiday (6'1/180) was in TCU’s corner from August right up until the start of the early signing period on Wednesday, at which point he turned tail on HC Gary Patterson and staff in favor of the Vols flavor. The Madison, Mississippi, native explained to 247Sports of the flip, “I just felt like I had a better chance to develop myself on a bigger stage.” While considered an “athlete” prospect, Holiday projects as a dual-threat quarterback for the collegiate ranks. The 247Sports composite board ranks him as the No. 24 prospect in the state of Mississippi for the 2020 cycle.
