    Cardinals released CB Josh Jackson.
Arizona also cut Koda Martin and Joe Walker. Jackson was signed in July but proved to be a camp body. He appeared in two games for the Chiefs last year, seeing most of his run on special teams. The 26-year-old will likely open the year on a practice squad or as a free agent.

  • FA Linebacker
49ers placed LB Joe Walker on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The 49ers have also sent reserve OL Hroniss Grasu to the list. With the Niners on bye this week, hopefully both will be back for Week 12.

  • FA Linebacker
49ers signed LB Joe Walker, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
Walker started the final 10 games of the season for the Cardinals last year after Haason Reddick was injured. Walker, 27, received extremely poor marks from Pro Football Focus for both his run defense and pass coverage. Arizona upgraded on Walker with De’Vondre Campbell in free agency last week.
  • FA Linebacker
Eagles seventh-round LB Joe Walker will miss all of 2016 after tearing his ACL in Thursday night’s preseason game.
The Oregon alum was having a solid camp for the Eagles and was slated to back up Jordan Hicks at middle linebacker before the injury. With Walker done for the year, Philadelphia could look to sign Stephen Tulloch, who was reportedly in “heavy negotiations” with the Eagles a few weeks ago before talks fizzled out.
  • FA Linebacker
Eagles selected Oregon LB Joe Walker with the No. 251 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
Walker (6'2/236) boosted his stock by having a strong Pro Day, running 4.60 with a 37.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-4 broad jump. He “wowed” scouts that day, putting himself on the map. Walker will have to keep it up and shine in camp and preseason to try and notch a special teams role in Philly.
