Dolphins signed Arizona State S Keelan Johnson.
Johnson (5-foot-11 5/8, 209) made 18 starts at ASU, recording eight career interceptions. He is a converted wide receiver with ball skills and strong workout numbers. Johnson ran 4.54 at the Combine with a 36.5-inch vertical and an explosive 10-foot-5 broad jump. Despite generating little pre-draft buzz, Johnson is definitely a worthwhile flier for the Dolphins.

Eagles promoted S Keelan Johnson from the practice squad.
LB Emmanuel Acho was waived in a corresponding roster move. An undrafted rookie out of Arizona State, Johnson will provide depth in the secondary and on special teams.

Eagles S Keelan Johnson was arrested early Friday morning in Tempe, Ariz. and charged with assaulting a police officer.
Johnson was reportedly involved in a bar fight around 2 AM. One of the people he was with allegedly got into a fight, and Johnson was “shouting over the officers.” He was asked to step back multiple times before Johnson allegedly shoved an officer. Johnson appeared in two games for the Eagles as an UDFA last season, making one tackle. He’ll likely be informed of his release shortly.

Seahawks waived DB Keelan Johnson, OT Jesse Davis, CB George Farmer, WR Deshon Foxx, WR Deontay Greenberry, LB Quayshawn Nealy, DE Greg Scruggs and S Ty Zimmerman.
Johnson appeared in two games for the 2013 Eagles. Turning 26 next month, Johnson isn’t much of a practice-squad candidate.
