Yankees acquired RHP Kelly Austin from the Astros for LHP Caleb Ferguson.
Austin went undrafted out of UCLA last year, but he’s emerged as a pretty good relief prospect, having posted a 2.21 ERA and a 46/7 K/BB in 36 2/3 innings in A-ball this year. He might emerge as a bullpen possibility at some point in 2025.
