    Lions released OL Kenny Wiggins.
Wiggins has made 13 starts for Matt Patricia’s squad over the past two years. He’s a candidate to re-sign with Detroit early in the season.

  • Lions re-signed OL Kenny Wiggins.
Wiggins has made 13 starts for Matt Patricia’s squad over the past two years, though only three of them came in 2019. The 31-year-old is capable of playing both guard and tackle, giving him a leg up on a 53-man roster spot.

  • Lions placed OL Kenny Wiggins (arm) on injured reserve.
Wiggins started three games this season and appeared in 14. His absence is bad news for the Lions’ offensive line depth ahead of matchups against the Broncos and Packers.
  • FA Guard #76
Lions RG T.J. Lang left Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Cowboys with a concussion and will not return.
He was helped off in the first quarter. It’s been a rough injury year for Lang, who has also been battling back issues. With Lang done for the afternoon, Kenny Wiggins will take over at right guard for Detroit.
  • Chargers signed OT Willie Smith.
OT Kenny Wiggins was waived in a corresponding roster move. A third-year undrafted free agent, Smith has made 10 career starts, including seven for the Raiders last season. He’ll provide depth for the Chargers’ constantly banged up offensive line.
  • Chargers signed OT Kenny Wiggins.
TE Kyle Miller was waived in a corresponding roster move. A fifth-year undrafted free agent, Wiggins appeared in one game for the Bolts last season. He’ll provide depth while RG D.J. Fluker (high-ankle sprain) is sidelined.
  • Chargers re-signed OT Kenny Wiggins to a one-year, $600,000 contract.
He was an exclusive rights free agent. Wiggins saw time at both guard positions as well as right tackle last year. The 27-year-old started eight games for the Bolts.
  • Lions signed OG Kenny Wiggins.
A 16-game starter for the Chargers last season, Wiggins was amongst the worst guards in the league. He will provide depth behind Graham Glasgow and T.J. Lang, who both missed time with injury in 2017.
