Chiefs signed CB Kevin Short to a three-year contract.
Short was eligible for Thursday’s Supplemental Draft but didn’t get picked. He transferred to the University of Kansas in 2013 after playing at Fort Scott Community College, but never saw the field after being ruled academically ineligible. Short’s size (6'2/190) is his main asset.
