Lou Williams officially announced his retirement after 17 years in the NBA, according to Shams Charania.
“Lemon Pepper Lou” is the NBA’s all-time leading bench scorer and three-time Sixth Man of the Year award winner. He last appeared with the Atanta Hawks in 2021-22, and he did not log any minutes last season.

Lou Williams intends to continue playing next season, according to his agent, Wallace Prather.
Williams averaged 6.3 points per game with 1.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game last season in 14.3 minutes for the Hawks. He is now a free agent and, according to his agent, the 17-year veteran has no plan to retire. “(Williams) is not pursuing retirement, and I’ll be proactive in talking to teams during free agency,” Prather said. Even if a team adds the veteran to their roster next season, he is not expected to impact fantasy basketball.

Lou Williams (back) will not suit up for Game 5 in Miami on Tuesday.
    Correct.

Lou Williams (lower back discomfort) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Williams isn’t a big part of the rotation in Atlanta for his playing status to have any impact on fantasy hoops.

Lou Williams (lower back discomfort) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Heat.
Williams’ absence won’t have much of an impact as far as DFS is concerned, as the Hawks have been playing Delon Wright heavy minutes. Not only has Wright been a valuable option off the bench as the team’s backup point guard, but he’s also seeing more time alongside Trae Young in an attempt to free up Atlanta’s star guard for more scoring opportunities.

Lou Williams (back) will remain on the sidelines for Tuesday’s Game 2 vs. the Heat.
Williams isn’t a large enough part of the rotation in Atlanta for his playing status to have any bearing in fantasy hoops.

Lou Williams (lower back) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Heat.
Williams missing this game won’t have a huge impact on the Hawks rotation, as Delon Wright is backup point guard behind Trae Young.

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic (left ankle sprain) has been made available for Friday’s must-win game against the Cavaliers.
There weren’t any noticeable issues when he was seen going through his usual pregame routine, and this isn’t a game that Atlanta would want their prized sixth man to miss. Only John Collins (foot/finger) and Lou Williams (back) are out for the Hawks tonight, and unless we hear otherwise, it’ll be Trae Young, Kevin Huerter, De’Andre Hunter and Clint Capela starting this one, the same first group they used against the Hornets.

Lou Williams (lower back soreness) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Williams missing another game won’t have much of an impact on the Hawks rotation, as his role in the rotation has been limited. Delon Wright was already the backup point guard, so no change there either.

Lou Williams (lower back) won’t play vs. Charlotte on Wednesday.
Williams will miss a fourth straight game and in his absence, Delon will handle majority of the backup point guard minutes behind Trae Young.
