Grand Valley State RB Martayveus Carter is officially eligible for the July 11 Supplemental Draft.
He’s one of five players eligible including Virginia Tech CB Adonis Alexander, Western Michigan CB Sam Beal, Mississippi State S Brandon Bryant and Oregon State LB Bright Ugwoegbu. Carter led Division II in both rushing yards (1,908) and rushing touchdowns (20) while earning National Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2016. He was less effective last season, delivering 957 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 122 carries. No player has been picked in the Supplemental Draft since OT Isaiah Battle went to the Rams in 2015.
