Packers claimed S Mike Tyson off waivers.
Tyson notched five tackles on 142 defensive snaps at free safety with the Texans last season, but was primarily utilized on special teams. Given the abundance of additions to Green Bay’s safety room this offseason, Tyson could be used as a utility defensive back if he makes it out of camp with the Packers.

    Texans waived S Mike Tyson.
Primarily a special teamer, the 2017 sixth-rounder totaled five tackles across 142 defensive snaps last year, all at free safety. Wherever he lands next, Tyson won’t be a lock to make the 53-man roster.

Texans promoted S Mike Tyson from the practice squad.
Iron Mike will try to deliver big hits on special teams.

Seahawks selected Cincinnati S Mike Tyson with the No. 187 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
The former undisputed world heavyweight champion, Tyson (6'1/204) undertook a new career challenge when he enrolled as a Bearcat (though he’s more of a tiger guy), quickly emerging as one of the top safeties in the American Athletic Conference. A one-year starter, Tyson led Cincinnati’s secondary in face tattoos as well as interceptions last season, and was a playmaker all over the field. When he wasn’t working on his right hook at Cincinnati, he was usually feeling it in the air tonight. A strong tackler and owner of several pigeons, Tyson will try to carve out a role on special teams before getting snaps on defense. He must avoid Buster Douglas on the practice field.

Seahawks signed No. 187 overall pick CB Mike Tyson to a four-year contract.
A college safety at Cincinnati, the Seahawks are planning to convert Tyson to cornerback. Coach Pete Carroll recently compared Tyson to former Legion of Boom member Byron Maxwell. Tyson will have a chance to play early.

The Seahawks are using sixth-round pick Mike Tyson at cornerback.
A 6-foot-1, 204-pound safety from Cincinnati, Tyson is getting a look as a boundary corner in Seattle’s Cover 3 scheme. Coach Pete Carroll likened Tyson’s skill set to Byron Maxwell’s coming out of college. Maxwell primarily played special teams at Clemson, then emerged as a starter at RCB in Seattle.
