Wright spent the 2021 campaign in the White Sox’ organization, making 13 relief appearances in the majors, and returns as extra pitching depth after being released by the Dodgers last week. The 32-year-old righty recorded an inflated 4.46 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 26/20 K/BB ratio across 34 1/3 innings (10 appearances, six starts) this season at Triple-A Oklahoma City. There’s a chance he’s up as a long reliever at some point later this year.

Wright signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers back in March and never wound up making it to Los Angeles. The 32-year-old righty recorded a respectable 4.46 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 26/20 K/BB ratio across 34 1/3 innings (10 appearances, six starts) this season at Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Wright elected free agency after being removed from the White Sox’ 40-man roster last October. The 32-year-old righty posted an underwhelming 5.50 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 11/11 K/BB ratio across 18 innings (13 appearances) last year at the major-league level. He’ll bolster the Dodgers’ organizational pitching depth this season.

Wright refused an outright minor-league assignment earlier this week and will test the free agent waters this offseason. The 31-year-old righty posted a serviceable 5.50 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 11/11 K/BB ratio across 18 innings (13 appearances) at the major-league level this season.

Wright went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment last week. The 31-year-old righty reliever, who made 13 appearances for the White Sox this season, will remain with the organization moving forward.

Wright posted a 5.50 ERA over 13 relief appearances. He’s clearing out to make room for Ryan Tepera’s return.

The 31-year-old will appeal the suspension after throwing at, and hitting, Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani on Thursday. White Sox manager Tony La Russa was also suspended one game but is unable to appeal.

Wright, 31, had a 3.40 ERA and 90/29 K/BB ratio in 95 1/3 innings over 16 starts in Triple-A. He’ll provide some depth in long relief.

Wright, 31, allowed the first two runners to reach before giving up the three-run roundtripper to Keston Hiura in the top of the first inning. He was able to get the next three batters out, but damage done. The right-hander is battling for a spot in the White Sox bullpen this spring, but his 2021 Cactus League season is off to an inauspicious start.

The 31-year-old hurler spent the 2020 season pitching for the NC Dinos in the Korea Baseball Organization, registering a 4.68 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 125/63 K/BB ratio over 157 2/3 innings (29 starts). He’ll provide organizational depth in the starting rotation for the White Sox.
