Padres acquired RHP Aaron Holiday and LHP Sean Manaea from the Athletics for INF Euribiel Angeles and RHP Adrian Martinez.
Holiday, a 21-year-old right-hander, was a 13th round selection out of Old Dominion by the Athletics during the 2021 draft. He logged 5 2/3 scoreless innings with the A’s Rookie League affiliate in 2021, posting an 0.88 WHIP and 8/2 K/BB ratio.
