    Cabrera has really impressed in his first full season as a reliever, posting a 3.11 ERA and 74/14 K/BB ratio over 55 innings between Double- and Triple-A. The 23-year-old right-hander throws hard and could be an impact late-inning arm in short order.

He has a power arm, and projects as a future late-inning reliever, so the Cubs will utilize the September roster expansion to get him some work at the highest level.

    Cabrera had a 3.29 ERA and 61/30 K/BB ratio over 65 2/3 innings this past season with the Cubs’ Triple-A affiliate. The 25-year-old appeared in 32 games in the majors from 2012-2013 and struck out 31 batters in 27 2/3 innings, but really struggled with his control. He’s minor league bullpen depth.
