Rockies signed RHP Anyelo Gomez to a minor league contract.
The 26-year-old hurler toiled in the Red Sox’ organization in 2019 where he registered a 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 19/15 K/BB ratio over 26 innings spanning four minor league levels. He’ll add organizational bullpen depth for the Rockies.

Braves returned Rule 5 Draft pick Anyelo Gomez to the Yankees.
Gomez was selected by Atlanta in last December’s Rule 5 Draft, but the 25-year-old right-hander allowed 10 earned runs in 8 1/3 innings this spring and was not going to make the Braves’ bullpen out of camp. He has been assigned to the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Braves selected RHP Anyelo Gomez from the Yankees with the seventh selection in the Rule 5 draft.
Gomez pitched at four levels in the Yankees system last season, amassing a 1.92 ERA and an 87/21 K/BB ratio in 70 1/3 innings out of the pen. He’s not the kind of big arm teams often look to add through the Rule 5 draft, but he’s ready to contend for a bullpen spot now and he could prove useful in the middle innings.
