Knight

Knight was the Orioles’ third-round draft pick in 2018 and spend the last two seasons in Triple-A Norfolk. He will look to latch on with another team and could serve as reliever depth for a major league team.

Knight struck out seven hitters, and he allowed just three hits without walking anyone. The 87th pick of last year’s draft, Knight has been outstanding for the Shorebirds in 2019; as seen in his 0.67 ERA and 33/4 K/BB ratio. The former Arkansas Razorback will show a plus fastball/slider combination, and he mixes in a solid change and so-so curve at times to keep hitters honest. His control is also solid, and the command isn’t far behind. Knight projects as a mid-rotation starter, and he has a chance to be a fixture in the Baltimore rotation before the end of 2021.
