Orioles acquired INFs Brandon Butterworth, Victor Figueroa and Cobb Hightower, RHPs Tanner Smith and Tyson Neighbors and LHP Boston Bateman from the Padres for 1B/DH Ryan O’Hearn and OF Ramon Laureano.
The 22-year-old infielder was the Padres’ 12th round selection from the 2024 draft out of Western Carolina University. He has spent the entire season thus far at High-A Fort Wayne where he slashed .267/.327/.455 with 11 long balls, 46 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 89 games. He’ll add another prospect to a deep and talented Orioles’ organization.
