    The deal does not come with an invitation to spring training, meaning Carlyle will be in minor league camp one month from now. He posted a 4.70 ERA and 1.57 WHIP in eight relief appearances last year with the Yankees before being released in August. The Braves probably aren’t expecting much from him.
