Blue Jays RHP prospect Conor Fisk hurled seven shutout frames Saturday in a win for High-A Dunedin.
Fisk wasn’t even supposed to start Saturday’s game but took over following a two-hour, 44-minute rain delay. The right-hander matched a career-high with seven strikeouts while allowing just two hits and a walk. Fisk holds a respectable 3.39 ERA over 20 appearances for Dunedin this year including seven starts. The 24-year-old arrived in Toronto as a 24th-round pick out of Southern Mississippi in 2014.
