White Sox 1B prospect Corey Zangari reached base five times with four hits and two runs scored Monday in a win for Rookie-level Great Falls.
He plated three runs as Great Falls rolled to a 13-5 win over Helena. Zangari finds himself back in rookie ball after getting off to a tough start in Low-A Kannapolis. In 57 games for the Intimidators, Zangari hit just .166 with 106 strikeouts in 223 at-bats. He’s looked more comfortable in Great Falls (.313 AVG in four games) but strikeouts remain a huge concern (seven whiffs in 16 at-bats).
