Duncan

The Padres are going to have to call on Duncan at some point. His control issues will probably be more of a problem in the majors than they have been in Triple-A, but he’s capable of helping a team as a short reliever, and since these are the Padres, a couple of good weeks would put him in a position to get save opps.

Duncan has a 3.65 ERA in 13 appearances, so he hasn’t been all that impressive. Still, the Padres may decide to give him a chance before long, and since the team’s closer situation remains unsettled, Duncan is a sleeper.
