Rangers acquired RHP Dane Acker, DH Khris Davis and C Jonah Heim from the Athletics for SS Elvis Andrus, C Aramis Garcia and cash considerations.
The 21-year-old right-hander was a fourth-round pick of the Athletics last summer out of the University of Oklahoma. He has yet to pitch in the minor leagues -- and only made four starts during his final collegiate season before their spring campaign was shut down -- but he’s an intriguing young arm.
