Angels’ minor league right-hander Daniel Reynolds was suspended 50 games for testing positive for a drug of abuse.
No specifics were released regarding the actual substance, but this is not a PED-related suspension. Reynolds, a sixth-round pick of the Angels in 2009, has a 3.93 ERA and 28/6 K/BB ratio over 34 1/3 relief innings in rookie ball. The 20-year-old will get a late start on his 2012 campaign.

Dodgers signed RHP Danny Reynolds to a minor league contract.
Reynolds, 25, spent some time in independent ball this year and also at Double-A with the Angels, posting a 5.61 ERA and 31/24 K/BB ratio over 33 2/3 Double-A frames. He’s merely some late-season organizational depth.

Angels designated RHP Danny Reynolds for assignment.
Reynolds was claimed off waivers from the Astros last month and had been toiling at Double-A Arkansas where he posted a 5.62 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 15/12 K/BB ratio across 16 innings. He’ll look to latch on elsewhere.

Angels sent RHP Danny Reynolds outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Reynolds cleared waivers after being designated for assignment late last week. The 25-year-old owns a 4.45 ERA in the minors and will serve as organizational depth.

Braves signed RHP Danny Reynolds to a minor league contract.
Reynolds, 25, posted a 5.61 ERA and 31/24 K/BB ratio over 33 2/3 innings with the Angels’ Double-A affiliate this year and also spent some time with the independent Laredo Lemurs. He’ll provide some organizational depth for Atlanta.

Angels optioned RHP Dan Reynolds to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Reynolds made three scoreless appearances this spring in the Cactus League, but he wasn’t really in consideration for an Opening Day bullpen job. The 23-year-old right-hander was added to the Angels’ 40-man roster last November so they could protect him from the Rule 5 Draft.

Dodgers claimed RHP Danny Reynolds off waivers from the Angels.
Reynolds, a sixth-round pick in 2009, posted a 4.57 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 50/28 K/BB ratio in 43 1/3 innings this summer for the Angels’ Double-A club. The 24-year-old is doubtful to be a factor with the Dodgers in 2016.

Astros claimed RHP Danny Reynolds off waivers from the Dodgers.
The Dodgers designated Reynolds for assignment on December 18. He was previously with the Angels, who themselves designated the 24-year-old right-hander for assignment earlier in December. Pitching at Double-A Arkansas last season, he posted a 4.57 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 50/28 K/BB ratio across 43 1/3 innings. Those numbers obviously need some work if he’s going to be a major league bullpen piece in the future.

Dodgers designated RHP Daniel Reynolds for assignment.
The move clears a 40-man roster spot for Tyler Olson. The Dodgers claimed Reynolds off waivers from the Angels earlier this month. He held a 4.57 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 50/28 K/BB ratio in 43 1/3 innings last season at Double-A.

Astros designated RHP Danny Reynolds for assignment.
The move clears a 40-man roster spot for Chris Devenski, who was called up to serve as a mop-up man on Thursday. Houston claimed Reynolds off waivers from the Dodgers in late December. The 24-year-old right-hander posted a 4.57 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 50/28 K/BB ratio across 43 1/3 innings last season at Double-A.
