Tigers acquired C Enderson Delgado and cash from the Rays for RHP Alex Faedo.
The Tigers designated Faedo for assignment last week, so it’s nice for them to get something in return for the 29-year-old reliever. Delgado is a 20-year-old catching prospect who played 56 games in A-ball last year. He posted a .259/.382/.400 slash line with a .782 OPS and four homers in those 56 games and is graded as an elite defensive prospect with a top-tier arm.
