Marlins acquired OF Esmil Valencia, SS Chase Jaworsky, and RHP Ryan Gusto from the Astros in exchange for OF Jesús Sánchez.
The 19-year-old Valencia makes his name with his speed, and he already has 50 steals in 83 games at Single-A this season. That comes with a .263/.325/.357 slash line and five home runs. It will be interesting to see if he can continue to hit enough to make use of his plus wheels as he advances in the system.
