    It’s a tough blow for Herrmann, who made 15 relief appearances with the Indians last season. The 28-year-old will now have to set his sights on getting ready for 2014.

    The move clears a spot for the newly-claimed Robert Whitenack on the 40-man roster. Herrmann had Tommy John surgery in March and will miss the entire 2013 season.
