Reds signed C/1B Joe DeLuca to a minor league contract.
DeLuca slashed .304/.369/.500 with 16 homers in 420 plate appearances last year with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs od the independent American Association. The 26-year-old backstop will provide the Reds with some minor-league catching depth this season.
