Giants acquired OF Jonah Cox from the Athletics for RHP Ross Stripling and cash considerations.
Cox was a sixth-round selection in last June’s MLB Draft out of Oral Roberts and made it all the way to Single-A Stockton in his professional debut. The 22-year-old outfielder is a long ways off from the big leagues at this point.
