Braves signed SS Jose Perdomo.
Perdomo, 17, is ranked by Baseball America as the year’s top international prospect (he’s No. 3 on MLB Pipeline’s list), and at $5 million, he’s getting the biggest bonus of anyone in the class. Expectations are that he’ll hit for a strong average and some power. It also sounds like he’ll be able to stick at shortstop.
