Astros OF prospect Joseph Sullivan went 2-for-4 with two walks, a stolen base, an RBI, and two runs scored in Arizona Fall League action on Wednesday.
Sullivan was a seventh-round draft pick in 2024, and he hit just .220 in 106 games this past season, split between High-A and Double-A. However, he has a tremendous approach at the plate, as evidenced by his .395 on-base percentage this season. When he gets on base, he can do damage, swiping 42 bases this season to go along with 17 home runs. In many ways, his profile is similar to Marlins outfielder Jakob Marsee, who had really intriguing fantasy tools but needed to find a way to make more contact. If Sullivan can continue to learn to do that, he could be an intriguing outfield option in an Astros organization that could use one.
