Right-hander Julio Pimental was traded from the Dodgers to the Royals in a four-player deal.
Pimental, 20, was 3-8 with a 5.69 ERA, 85 H and 77/45 K/BB in 74 1/3 innings for Single-A Vero Beach. Since he was signed as an outfielder, he’s still a raw product. However, he has stuff to turn into a quality reliever someday.
