Orioles signed RHP Kenn Kasparek to a minor league contract.
The 29-year-old hurler has a solid season in 2014 where he compiled a 2.55 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 42/8 K/BB ratio over 49 1/3 innings between Double-A Altoona and Triple-A Indianapolis for the Pirates. He’ll provide organizational bullpen depth for the O’s and stands a decent chance of making his big league debut at some point during the 2015 season.
