Kevin McGlinchy, attempting to come back from two shoulder surgeries, is ready to compete for a job this spring.
``I’m pain-free,’' he said. ``It’s too early to tell, but I feel really good. I’ve been through enough over the last couple of years to figure out the whole rehab process, how I feel. I’m going to do everything in my power to get back this year.’' McGlinchy is quite a longshot at this point, but he’s definitely worthy watching. He looked like a potential third starter or closer when he came up with the Braves.
