Orioles signed RHP Kieran Lovegrove to a minor league contract.
The 24-year-old hurler was cut loose by the Giants early last week after posting a miserable 8.69 ERA across 19 2/3 innings at Double-A Richmond. He’ll try to right the ship and get his career back on track in Baltimore.

    Giants released RHP Kieran Lovegrove.
Lovegrove was in major league camp with the Giants this spring but got sent to Double-A Richmond before the regular season began and went on to post an 8.69 ERA in 19 2/3 innings there. The 24-year-old former third-round pick put up good numbers in the Indians’ minor league system in 2018 and should be able to find another opportunity in MLB-affiliated ball.

Giants signed RHP Kieran Lovegrove to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Lovegrove, 24, was a third-round pick by the Indians in 2014, and he has spent his entire career in their system before signing with the Giants. He posted a 2.73 ERA over three levels while striking out 66 hitters in 59 1/3 innings last year, so there’s a chance he could see time in the San Francisco bullpen in 2019.
