Orioles acquired RHP Kyle Virbitsky from the Athletics in the Cole Irvin trade.
It’s pretty interesting that the Orioles were able to get an additional player along with a steady innings-eater in Irvin. Virbitsky isn’t a top prospect, but Baltimore sees some upside here. The 24-year-old was drafted in the 11th round in 2021 and holds a 4.49 ERA and 162/34 K/BB ratio through his first 142 1/3 professional innings.
