Diamondbacks optioned RHP Kyler Newby to Double-A Mobile.

Diamondbacks recalled RHP Kyler Newby from Double-A Mobile.
Newby is 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA and 18 strikeouts through 18 2/3 innings. However, Newby also owns a 1.71 WHIP in Double-A ball. The Diamondbacks bullpen needs arms now after their starters went only a combined 9 1/3 innings in their doubleheader Wednesday.
